AirAsia X took off to the skies and the next stop our guests will be seeing will be Tianjin. We had the honour of the Malaysian Minister of Transportation, YB Dato’ Sri Ong Tee Keat who graced the send off with caligraphy writing to kick off the proceedings.

There were lion dances and performances which must surely add to the excitement at LCCT. The crew were there from as early as 5.30 am and job well done to all behind the backstage. Your efforts are not unnoticed.

Heres some cool pics from this morning.

Displaying the caligraphy which roughly translates to “Proud People’s Airlines”

Tony and YB Dato’ Sri Ong Tee Keat were on hand to bid the inaugural flight guests a safe trip. Needless to say, there was much fanfare and noise on the tarmac

Hows that for a bit of Tianjin flavour? We like red.

Skies were again clear and its was a great start to open the doors to the rich cultural heritage of China. Tianjin, only 30 minutes by bullet train from Beijing is surely another exciting step forward for us and we hope to see you on board with us soon.
