AirAsia kickstarted our kiosk initiative to get our merchandise reach out more accessible for the masses beginning with our first one at LCCT itself. Now, how many of you are actually aware that AirAsia actually has a second kiosk and even plans for a third?

Our second kiosk is located at K6.03, 6th floor, Pavilion KL. It's right outside Times bookstore, and near TGI Fridays. Here's a few snapshots for those interested to drop by

Located right smack in the heart of the shopping drive of Kuala Lumpur city, the kiosk presents a great opportunity for aircraft model collectors to pick up our various AirAsia plane models as it has:

AirAsia A320 (scale 1:150) - Lat Livery
AirAsia A320 (scale 1:100) - AT&T Williams Livery
AirAsia A330 & A320 Aircraft models
*The Oakland Raiders aircraft model will be available by end of February*

It's not just for aircraft aficionados alone as the kiosk also offers our limited edition Truly Asean Gift Boxes and a limited range of tops and bags by Gadis Manis and beautiful gift ideas by Kama Artworks.

This is the second AirAsia Retail Outlet, the first is located at LCC Terminal, and a third will be unveiled in Q2. We look forward to you dropping by and maybe get a bit of a "red" wave going on at the heart of Malaysia itself. A fellow blogger (Aaron Hiew) recently alerted me towards the availability of the miniature 9M-AFJ. As some of you may know, this aircraft was recently repainted in 'Lat' livery, alike 9M-AAP in the past. In the recent past, I have been anxiously waiting to get my hands on this collector's item.

Coincidence I - As I was waiting to catch my flight yesterday, I was pleasantly surprised to note that I would be flying on 9M-AFJ. Not wanting to break the "no photography on tarmac" rule, I only managed to take this poor quality pic from the boarding area:

Coincidence II - Thankfully, the miniature merchandise was available on board the very same aircraft ... as you may already know, not all merchandise is available on every flight.

Coincidence III - As you can see from the picutre above, I happened to be 'hot seated' at 1F, directly in front of Lat's handiwork on the bulkhead.

The miniature itself, 1:150 scale with landing gear, is quite attractive:

So, for the collectors out there, better get this one fast.... and as Datuk Mohd Nor Khalid 'graffitized' on the aircraft.... HAPPY FLYING with Air Asia !!!

Finally, the miniature version of 9M-XAC has arrived.

I found it at the Air Asia LCCT kiosk yesterday (11th Oct).

It's a Limited Edition 1:200 scale model with landing gear.

I heard the best seats are towards at the rear end of starboard... hmmm, wonder why?

So, for all you avid collectors (and I know there are many of you out there), you better make a "home run" for this limited edition miniature before they run out. Retailing at RM 139 per piece, I'd say it's an "excellent" buy.
