I am into photography, and when I was asked to take more pics to accompany my blog entries, I was more than happy. However, if I were to walk around with a big DSLR in my uniform, one might think that I am not into my job (come on, photography is my hobby!!!).
These pics were taken with my only alternative (a lousy 2MP phone camera - on offline during cruising, of course!). At times like these....I MISS MY CAMERAS!

yups! I just cannot imagine the pretty AirAsia's stewardess walking in the isle with a big DSLR camera in their neck.. hahaha :D
btw, is it okay to make a picture during the flight? since I thought electronic devices is forbidden during flight.

Perhaps when u r off duty, u can hitch a ride on some of AirAsia's flights to go shooting.
Last year, I was on a flight from KCH to KUL and the sunset was glorious. I did shoot some pix of that as well as the twilight that followed. Very colourful!

Well, as for the electronic devices on board, I took the SIM card off and was using it on 'offline' mode, and I only activated it during cruising. The critical phase of flight is during 'take-off', 'landing' and when the aircraft is taxiing on ground. Apart from that, handphones are categorized as a transmitting electronic device, which is not allowed throughout flight.

Basically most modern phones have a function called flight mode which will turn off the transmitting function of the mobile phone. This would allow you to use your mobile phones for other purpose like playing games, music, videos, and of also using the camera function.
Taking the SIM card out from the mobile phone is not enough as the mobile phone would still be searching for a signal even though it will never be connected.

Keep up the good hobby in you. I know photography is very interesting to be in. Just want to wish you keep up the good work and expose more of your photography talent.
