LATEST UPDATES: Suvarnabhumi International Airport Reopens

The Airports Authority of Thailand (AOT) has announced that the Suvarnabhumi International Airport will be reopened on 5 December 2008 and as such there will be no more flights to U-Tapao after 4 December 2008.

All affected guests of cancelled flights between 26 November and 4 December 2008 due to Bangkok's Suvarnabhumi International Airport closure will automatically receive credit shell which can be used for AirAsia flights (valid for 3 months).

Dear Air Asia Team,
I fully support the Klia East initiatives by Sime Group and A.Asia. It is really high time that we dislodge ourselves from the 'pasar malam' madness of the current LCCT terminal to a more meaning and useful new airport.I had and having harrowing time looking for a parking lot every time I visit LCCT. It is shear madness that runs high in the present terminal.
I say SYABAS to the people who thought of this wonderful idea to build KLIA EAST.
I wish and pray that the relevent authorities give their full support and blessings for this noble cause and outreaching vision. To the team, please do not give up and wishing you all victory.
