Recently, 10 of us from Malaysia traveled to Jakarta definitely with AirAsia! It was my 1st experience together with my spouse & daughter fly with AirAsia. It was the day we supposed to be back to K.L(actually we wanna stay longer!!!) and we were @ Suhaerno-Hatta Jakarta airport about 7pm(supposed 8.30pm Indonesia time- departure).Right after the passport checking,we were told by ...that flight delay..hmm..

I said to my self..this could be the best time for me and family to browse all the free duty shops @ the airport...!! And 10 of us separately window shoped and I knew some of my friends just chose to chit-chat @ a nearby cafe during the delay...

We really took our sweet time from door to door shopping,until I & my daughter finally rested right in front of flight screen information. She was curious with all the info& I started to brief whats the detail of it..until I read the details of our schedule flight!!! WHATTT!!! a LAST CALL from our flight!!???Hey!! where is everybody???? I saw them still enjoy @ cafe!!! I quickly signal & told them what I've read!!! Everybody was shocked & started running towards the Gate no....!!! Few of my friends were @ the other cafe(near Gate...) panicked too as they saw us running & they immediately joined us running towards the Gate!! We were very lucky as finally 10 of us made the AirAsia flight, just a few minutes before it departed!!! As we were late, everyone of us had to seat @ different locations!! and when looking @ each other...we were laughing at what had just happened to us!!!

Although we spent 2 nights(1 night each @ Bandung & Jakarta)but with AirAsia we enjoyed so much on cost, time and most recommended!!

From 5 October 2008 until 13 October 2008, We (12 adults and 4 children) travelled to 5 cities in South East Asia using AirAsia.

5 October 2008 (1st flight), from Jakarta we flew to Batam, and then using ferry to Singapore…

We were staying for 2 nights in Singapore and had a great fun there…. We brought our children to Sentosa Island, playing Luge and Skyride, and the most excited things were watching “The Song of the Sea”. It was a great performance and the lasser fountain was cool….. Everytime I fly from Jakarta to Batam or Bali or Surabaya, always using AirAsia. But then to go back home to my hometown Makassar in 2006, I wasn't able to use AirAsia service anymore since there was no AirAsia flight in Makassar. At that time, I always said "If only AirAsia operate in Makassar" and guess what... after 2 years of my expectation, finally AirAsia make my wish come true :) really great! wonder how they know my wish.

I'm really happy that AirAsia had opened the destination from Makassar direct to Kuala Lumpur coz it's save our money and time as we don't need to transit to Jakarta nor Surabaya anymore to fly to Kuala Lumpur. Now everybody from our city can fly abroad easily.

It's nice to know AirAsia has a blog ^_^ At least I can share my opinion flying with AirAsia.

Well, through this blog I'd like to give some critics and compliments.

First, both of my flight schedule AirAsia from Jakarta - Padang ( July 3, 2008) and Padang -Jakarta (July 9, 2008) was delayed. Delay period is about 2-4 hours longer than flight scheduled stated on Website while I ordered previously. When I ordered by AirAsia Website, there was 2 flight scheduled, I ordered the 1st, but suddenly at the H-Day 1st flight schedule was delayed too long until there's only 1 flight schedule at that day.

Delay time also happened while I got back to Jakarta. I was surprised because the delay reason didn't make sense, AirAsia Crew said "Delay because waiting Flight from particular destination ", not because of urgent matters such as bad situation in destination, or flight repair, etc. Their reasons made me curious, does AirAsia planes limited? Anyway anyhow, I'm really dissappointed because of AirAsia delay time, all of my holiday planning messed up :( Well, how about if I have business trip? Should I used AirAsia? Hmm.. I suggest not . Does low cost fare mean low service to customer? I hope not

In other way. I give an applause to AirAsia Captain who already survived landing in Padang (July 3, 2008), while situations was really really bad.. Thanks Capt!

At the end, through my critics, I hope AirAsia can improve its performance constantly and consequent with flight schedule stated on website.
