EAT these in Hong Kong
I didn't expect culture shock in Hong Kong, since I lived in Kuala Lumpur city all my life. However, the busy streets, LOUD and trendy citizens, having the ladies wearing the same Louis Vuitton handbags and men in black all the time, really shocked me. That aside, this post is about "The FOOD" in Hong Kong that should not be missed. *huge grin*
Polo Pao (Pineapple Polo Bun) + Chin Dan (Fried Egg) + Chee Cheung Fun (Rice Noodle) + Pei Dan Sau Yuk Zhuk (Century Egg and Lean Pork Porridge) + Nai Cha (Milk Tea)
Dan Tart (Egg Tart) + Ling Mut (Ice Lemon Tea)
Chu Pa Pao (Pork Steak Bun) + Dan Tart (Egg Tart ) again.. + Ling Mut (Ice Lemon Tea) again..
San Chu Yok Kon (Wild Boar Dried Meat) + Chu Yok Kon (Pork Dried Meat) + Kai Yok Kon (Chicken Dried Meat) + Whatever dried meat that you want
Seriously..I have no idea what are they buying or choosing. But, the locals claimed it to be good for blood circulation. Standing next to me, was an old lady. I asked the po po (grandma) in Cantonese language "Po po mat lei ke?" (What are all this grandma?) She answered "Wa.. kang hai ho ye lo. Lei emm sik sek" (Wa.. good stuffs. Don't you know how to eat?) I went bewildered and *gasp* =_=""
How can you not have seafood in Hong Kong? Pao Yu (Abalone) + Scallops are popular especially. It is cheaper than Malaysia, that I know of.
Sincere appologies to all Muslim friends. Pork somehow very much served in Hong Kong dishes. You can find pork burger in Mc'Donalds too. Muahahaha...
Less than 4 hour plane ride to Hong Kong from Malaysia was worth while for me..*drool**

Stanley, Hong Kong
The Blake Pier at Stanley. The original structure was built in Central. On the year 2007, this structure was transferred to Murray House, Stanley.
Murray House (Hong Kong Maritime Museum and restaurants). This building was re-build in year 1998. The original building was build by the colonial in year 1846. The previous location was in Central.
Blake Pier viewed from another angle.
Stanley Market is the place where you can buy the souvenirs. Very cheap sumore!

That warm fuzzy feeling
At 2:45pm the plane touched down LCCT. After I got off the plane, the weather suddenly changed. I heard thunder storm while I was collecting my baggage. I started to worry for my Singapore friends as they should arrive 5 minutes later.
I collected my bags and went to the departure hall which was just next to the arrival hall. However, the check-in counter was about to close. I was very worried and I called my friends. They were caught in the thunder storm. Though their plane had arrived but they were not allowed to get off due to safety reason. I waited for another 30 minutes. The check-in counter has been closed. So I went to the service counter No. 58.
When I got there, there are some other passengers queuing up for help. I was scared that my friends and I would miss the flight to Banda Aceh, so I shouted loudly, 'Excuse me, I have an urgent situation here. Is the flight to Banda Aceh departed already?' Then a kind gentlemen immediately checked and he asked me to wait patiently.
It was by luck that the flight to Banda Aceh was also delayed due to bad weather. This kind gentlemen politely asked for my passport and help me to check in. After I told him I still got friends struck in the plane, he asked for their names and he promise to help as long as the gate is not closed. I was so thankful for his kind, helpful & friendly attitude.
Finally my friends showed up after an hour and we all checked in successfully. We really appreciate the help and friendliness of this gentlemen. What's more? He gave us an unforgettable beginning of our journey!
Once again we thank for help of this gentlemen. His name is NORMI SHAHRIL.
We will take AirAsia flight in future again.

No Hens and Goats? Really?
Initially we were a little sceptical before taking the AirAsia flight, since some relatives and friends who used to fly with ‘full-serviced’ airline, warned us that flying with AirAsia could be like riding an old-cheap-dirty-lousy intercity bus. Even I imagined that some passengers would bring their hens or goats to the cabin. (just kidding). My decision to try AirAsia was the price of airfare (what else!) that we can spare the money for my mother’s medical tests and supplies, also for ‘beli-belah’, rather than spend it on a ‘full serviced’ flight. Furthermore the flight was only going to be 2 hours.
But then even my mother was amazed with the flight! She said, the plane was brand new and clean, the flight was so efficient. the plane take off was so confident and the nasi lemak was yummy (Maaaaa! The doctor warned you to avoid that kind of food, didn’t he!!).
AirAsia has given us a new perspective that low-fare trips can be fun and enjoyable. Our next trip to Kuala Lumpur will be in December, but we have yet to book tickets. But we will definitely fly with AirAsia for sure! One other thing: I still cannot decide after our Kuala Lumpur visit should we fly to Bangkok or Hong Kong or Gold Coast? So confusing!
