Hello Asia! Goodbye Europe for my holidays.

Like many the yearly visit to mainland Europe for the seasonal beach holiday was normal, however this year with the British Pound so weak again the Euro we looked further away from home.

With the past years credit crunch everyone is looking to cut costs and get more for your money. Air Asia's timing of the the direct service from London Stansted to Kuala Lumpur KLCC couldn't be better. After working out how much a family holiday would cost in Europe compared to the cost of a flight to Malaysia there was no competition.

The flight was excellent on a new plane with great staff and great service for a budget price.

We decided not to stay in KL but head straight for an island on the east coast Malaysia. We found a little known island called Pulau Sibu (Sibu island) from a blog and after checking the place out with reviews from tripadvisor and rough guide we booked a 10 day stay at Sibu Island Cabanas.

The scuba diving on offer at Sibu Island is excellent. The dives are from small speed boats to sites no body seems to dive at all; as the reefs are in perfect condition with little to no bleaching. Both myself and my son were able to pass our PADI open water certifications at the hotel / dive centre. While my wife enjoyed some quiet time with a good book on the beach.

It's easy to forget what you really want in a holiday! Forget about the minibar, TVs and mobile phones. All you really want is somewhere to relax as well as to have fun with family and friends.

So if you want to really get away from it all if you live in London or Singapore; KL or Perth remember what it is you really want from a beach holiday and look abit further away from the usual and you'll find exactly what your looking for.

It's along time before we got ticket, in my office we got a plan going to bali so we're looking for a promotion ticket and we got return ticket but our trip to Bali 9 months later it's no problem because we got a promo ticket we're 13 people go together by AirAsia it's wonderful trip, I can bring my office friends to bali.

We stayed 5 days in Bali and during on that island we going around Bali and we leased 2 cars with that car we can go whenever we like, now I still looking a promo ticket from AirAsia to go a another destination, I wish get it, anyway thanks AirAsia.

As the aeroplane curved into the parking bay and a block of chock saddled to the front tires, the clock starts ticking for the 25 minutes turnaround.

25 Minutes Turnaround means, it takes 25 minutes for an aircraft from the moment of arrival to depart to the next destination.

It's one of the practice of AirAsia berhad in order to operate as Low Cost Carrier.

What actually happen in the 25 minutes time?

First, you will hear the boarding announcement being made for your departure.

Some people like collecting stamps, some like to collect coins or stones but the whole objective of collecting stuff, I guess, is to amass a variety of items that is to become one’s pride and joy.

We collect stuff too, it’s a common sight on tables – well at least for the Web Team, they are. Table Souvenirs! Small items that we bring back to the office for one another after each to remind ourselves of our trips. Since AirAsia flies to 61 destinations… you can bet that there are plenty of items on our desk!

I'm really impressed with AirAsia's growth which now penetrates all the major cities in Asia. The inflight magazine; Travel 3Sixty makes a great reading material for guests.

Unfortunately we are advised not to take it home. Why not have an online edition? With an online edition, your current and potential guests will always have access to the latest info which will also be in the magazine. Furthermore, some features like monthly special events taking place in other countries is very useful to pre-plan our holiday. Also, your advertising can expand widely by going online. The biggest target achieved would be to discourage your guests from taking home the printed magazine from their seats as they can also access it online.

As for me, the articles on destinations is interesting as sometimes other media give out wrong information about that place.
