What do you get when you combine AirAsia & graffiti? With graffiti, you have a means of expression. An art form that links communities beyond land. A connection amongst people and culture. At AirAsia, we support this movement and do our part in linking communities to raise graffiti as an art form that transcends boundaries.
We recently held ‘AirAsia Youth Design Challenge’ at the first ever graffiti festival – KUL Sign Festival 2010 right here in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia! The challenge was held from Dec 4-5 at Dataran LRT Pasar Seni.
We flown in 3 ASEAN artists – Nsane5 (Indonesia), Zidslay (Thailand) and Nuke (Malaysia), who did something special for AirAsia! Each of them created 2 pieces of work which was put up for public to chose which artworks make the cut and which did not.
And the public have spoken!
We are delighted to announce the winning artworks from the AirAsia Youth Design Challenge! Three artworks have been selected and they are as follows;
