My Most Memorable Marathon by Kin Leong (Gold Coast Airport Marathon)

Gold Coast Airport Marathon, one of my dream place to run for my personal best (PB) full marathon.

Early of year 2011, I start my training plan for this event.

Gold Coast Airport Marathon is a flat road plus cold weather race. I know if luck is on my side, I could hit my most wanted target time there.

I still remember the satisfaction I get when I first achieve my sub 4 timing in adidas Sundown Marathon 2010 full marathon, the pain is temporary, but the praise is forever.


3 hours and 30 minutes, a most wanted target time which I had been trying hardly to achieve recently is finally mature. I strongly believe my first full marathon complete within 3 hours and 30 minutes (sub 330) will be this one, the 33rd Gold Coast Airport Marathon.


My three best marathon times:
1) 2010/11/07 24th Hangzhou International Marathon in 03:36:22, my current personal best (PB) in cold weather race.
2) 2010/06/27 Standard Chartered KL Marathon in 03:46:48, my current personal best (PB) in hot weather race.
3) 2010/05/29 adidas Sundown Marathon in 03:56:09, my first full marathon complete within 4 hours (sub 4).
