Hi Everyone,

A BIG THANK YOU to everyone who came along to the first ever Culture Carnival last weekend!

It was so nice to meet so many people from all over who had come along to enjoy the carnival – to eat, shop, drink and have a good time.

Congratulations to the 9 lucky people who won a ride our Airbus A320 Full Flight Simultaor…and to those who won fantastic flights to Langkawi, Bali and Bangkok as well as London, Australia and China!
Tune Hotels kindly sponsered a number of 2D/1N stays in their hotels in Penang and Kota Kinabalu, and we had food vouchers for George and the Dragon (Bangsar Shopping Center) and Finnegan’s (Sri Hartamas, Jalan Sultan Ismail, Mid Valley and Bangsar). There were also electrical goods, Football Jerseys, AirAsia Caps, MP3 Players and much much more to be won in our raffle.

A great band called Cynosure played 2 sets in the morning and we had our fabulous Wati singinging her heart out for a few songs.

There were colouring contests, maggie mee eating contests, loads of stalls selling everything from delicious cup cakes, tandoori chicken, flowers, soup, Dell Computers, clothes, United Voice products…there was a car wash, facepainting, make up stalls, spa area, AirAsia booths including merchandise from Thailand and Indonesia…the list is endless!

We hope you all enjoyed yourselves as much as we did and we look forward to seeing you all again soon!

Love From

I’m the tall English girl in the company and I help organize sport and recreational activities for the lovely AirAsia staff. The perfect job for me as sport is really where my passion lies; anything and everything, I’ll give it a go! Lacrosse is my main sport but over here in Malaysia its played about as much as quidditch…so I spend my time running, swimming, netballing and tennising and soon I will be trying my hand at rugby for the first time – why not?!

As well as sport I love traveling; and South East Asia is an amazing place to be to explore; Malaysia, Laos, Vietnam, Cambodia, and Indonesia – the list is endless!

A friend of mine recently set me a task to visit all of AirAsia’s destinations – I think I’ve got quite a few more to go before that’s completed!

Other favorite things are extreme activities; bungee jumping, sky diving, glacier hiking…next thing on my list is Mount Kinabalu and the Macau bungee which is over 200m, and I will have ticked off another AirAsia destination – get in!
