The AirAsia British Grand Prix 2011 is right around the corner and we at AirAsia are abuzz with making sure all the “T’s” are crossed and the “I’s” dotted to bring you more than the usual MotoGP experience.
While fans are guaranteed to witness spectacular races with names like Jorge Lorenzo, Casey Stoner and Valentino Rossi trying to outpace each other on track to be crowned Champion of the AirAsia British Grand Prix 2011, they can also expect three full days of off-track entertainment which includes stunt shows, concerts and aerobatic displays.
Our rider Zulfahmi Khairuddin from Team AirAsia Sepang International Circuit Ajo Motorsport has been having a great season so far with 11 points in the World Championship and this year, he also recorded his best result ever by coming in 10th place at the Spanish Grand Prix in April. It’s fantastic for our boy who came a long way from Banting to become the sole Malaysian competing in the MotoGP.
Together with Efren Vazquez, Johann Zarco, Danny Kent and Jonas Folger who are also riding under the AirAsia banner, all five of them will battle it out in the 125cc category of the series.
While we ‘paint’ the legendary Silverstone Circuit red, be sure to visit the AirAsia booth and ‘Experience AirAsia’ to find out what we can offer out guests through our extensive routes and destinations. Unwind after a thrilling race with a Thai massage, look out for the Hakka dancers from New Zealand or get a taste of Asia with the cooking demonstrations among many other activities planned that will surely make it a unique MotoGP experience for everyone. Also, our riders will be at the booth for a special signing session on Saturday at 3.30pm.
On top of that, get a chance to win free flight tickets as well. All you have to do is get your picture taken at the AirAsia booth and go to www.experienceairasia.co.uk, click ‘Like’ and voila, you are in the running to win!
