A New Journey

AirAsia Social Media team

By AirAsia Social Media team

The time has come. AirAsia has embarked on a new destination…this time into the blogosphere.

Welcome Aboard.

Strap on your seat belts, because this is going to be one exciting ride. Truth be told, we were mulling about this new destination for some time now. After many months of planning, we are ready to launch and see it take off.

Ok enough plane talk.

Our goal with this blog is to give our readers the opportunity to take a look into AirAsia’s world and to communicate with us. We have a whole line up of bloggers from AirAsia just waiting to share their insights with you.

But wait! You, our readers will also have the opportunity to blog for us! We wish to build a relationship with you guys. A sincere one. That’s why we need you all to write, share and leave us your thoughts. We will strive to present opposing view points and vow to keep it interesting and different.

Don’t misunderstand, I have nothing against AirAsia. Just speaking my mind.

MAS’s blog do not allow other guests to post & comment on one & the same entry post by a guest. Other guests have to submit another feedback & it will lose the trail of the original story. Is that innovation?

What’s the purpose of setting up a blog in the first place? A blog should be a two-way communication. AirAsia blog definitely has that added edge, don’t you think so? ;)

AirAsia may only be copying the idea of having a blog site from MH. As for the rest, it is MH that copies AirAsia a lot, eg: Changing sales staff uniform from Kebaya to blue t-shirts, running super low fare promos using the same look and feel in the press, throwing 0 fares each time AirAsia publishes something etc.
Without LCC, we will still be paying monopolised pricing and have less opportunities to fly to exotic places. With AirAsia, I fly 10 times MORE in a year – 3 regional vacations, 7 times balik kampung, how is that ???
In Q3/4 2009, my dream is to get married in Bali so I will fly there more often to coordinate things… without AirAsia, I might not be able to marry in Bali!

    Hi Guys
Thanks for all your comments. Keep ‘em coming. The idea to create and develop the AirAsia blog was conceived many months ago and definitely prior to the launch of MAS’MH blog.

However we wanted only the best so we took some time creating a blog with exciting features such as allowing our guests to submit posts, highlighting our AirAsia blogger profiles and other stuff.

We hope you guys continue to visit us and let your voices be heard. Oh and Wan Fong, congratulations and all the best to you. May you have a beautiful wedding in Bali!
